The Elephant Sanctuary was a side project I took on in my own time. We were given a project in school to rebrand company Logos, this was the company I was given and when I saw their original website I was confused about the design and usability. So I used Adobe XD to create a simplified and cleaner website prototype, choosing earthy tones to suit the safari vibe and focusing on images/videos to give people the feeling of what it could be like seeing Elephants in real life. starting off with a Looping video as soon as you enter the website, to make it that much more enticing to sign up for a trip!
The Process
Sketches are the best way for me to start any design process and many notes. Sometimes they can be clean and simple and sometimes they can be an absolute mess all depends on how challenging the task is. In this case, I already knew I wanted to simplify a lot by placing most of the important things on one scroll page and having the secondary information on alternate pages.
