This year I was lucky enough to get to design the shirts for the Western Australia Boulder State Titles competition.

The back of the shirt was inspired by the climbing wall, where I decided to take a more abstract approach. The squiggles and circles are the holds and the dots are the bolt holes on the wall, which makes the solid square the wall itself.
The front design is a funny one, it was actually one of my alternative designs because WA is so hot and the gyms sell popsicles, I wanted to have a play on that. They really liked the idea and asked if we could use it on the front of the shirt
